Get Social - Youth

Big Idea — Jesus’ final instruction to His disciples was to make disciples by sharing the good news of the gospel. This series invites us to get social with our faith by presenting practical tools to share the gospel with others.

Week 1 — Face the Book

One of the greatest barriers in sharing faith is the haunting question: what if someone asks me a question I can’t answer? This lesson shows how daily Bible study can help and provides a few key passages and subjects to help prepare us to be witnesses.

Week 2 — Be “Insta”

Paul instructed us to be instant in season and out of season. Much of being a witness is taking advantage of moments when people are open. In this lesson we will explore how to identify and take advantage of those moments.

Week 3 — Share Your Story

Like the social media craze of “stories” (thirty-second bites that let us into the lives of the broadcasters), we will explore ways students can share their testimony—their story.

Week 4 — Retweet

A “retweet” is a sharing of someone else’s words. Similarly, teaching a Bible study is all about allowing the Word of God to speak for itself. In this lesson we will share practical principles for

giving a basic Bible study.
