Developing An Apostolic Attitude - Hyphen

Big Idea — As we construct our lives upon the Word of God, we should pay attention to the thought processes that undermine our behavior. A child of God is called upon to rise above the cesspool of society and live out an attitude of submission to the principles of God’s Word.

• Week 1 — The Danger of Good Intentions

Salvation is a gift from God, and once we experience His grace, we are called upon to follow through with serving Him.

• Week 2 — Response Ability

God created us with emotions, but He does not allow us to use those emotions as an excuse for sin because we can select the response we have to the events of life.

• Week 3 — It’s Your Turn

God has a plan for each of our lives, but we must play an active role in seeking His will and stepping through the doors He opens for us.

• Week 4 — The Approval of God

In a culture that defines self-worth based on the approval of other people, children of God must understand their focus should be to seek the approval that comes from Him.
