Obedience in the Journey - Hyphen
Big Idea - Abraham's life is a story of faith, but his journey is one of learning to fully obey God. From Ur to Haran, through Egypt and on to Canaan, Abraham's journey was marked by leaving, lying, laughing, and letting go. His story reveals to us that complete obedience involves more than just doing the right thing. The choice to obey completely is found in the heart.
Lesson 1 - Leaving: Leaving Your Comfort Zone
Obeying God in the journey often means that we must leave our comfort zone.
Lesson 2 - Lying: Taking Matters into Your Own Hands
Obeying God in the journey often means trusting Him and not taking matters into our own hands.
Lesson 3 - Laughing: Difficulty Believing God for the Impossible
Obeying God in the journey often means believing God for things we think are impossible.
Lesson 4 - Letting Go: Learning to Trust God Completely
Obeying God in the journey often means having faith to let go and let God be in control.
