Make New - Hyphen
Big Idea — In II Corinthians 5:17, the Bible states that anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old has passed away, and all is made new. In this series we will explore how Jesus makes us new and how we can walk in newness of life to reflect His glory.
• Week 1 — A New Life
Rahab was a citizen of Jericho, a city appointed to destruction. Yet because of an interaction she had with a couple of spies, her life was spared. In this lesson we will discuss the new life made available to us through faith in Jesus Christ.
• Week 2 — A New Purpose
Peter was just a fisherman, sitting on the seashore, mending his broken nets after a catch-less night. Still, when Jesus beckoned Peter to come, Peter left his nets behind and followed Jesus. In this lesson we will examine the new purpose we find in a relationship with Jesus.
• Week 3 — New Values
Josiah led Judah toward God as a result of finding the Law. In this lesson we will discuss how a new life in Christ leads us to follow His Word and establish a new value system.
• Week 4 — A New Way of Doing Things
Saul was on the road to Damascus, on his way to kill Christians, when he had an encounter with Jesus that made him new and changed everything. In this lesson we will evaluate how a continued life of discipleship leads to progressive change in how we live.
