Big Idea — God’s command to “arise and go” is a personal call to someone with a God ordained purpose. If the call to go beats strongly in your chest, it is because the biblical word arise is an action of the heart, not just the feet. This study explains the process of salvation Jesus taught, the apostles preached, and the early church lived out in the Book of Acts, along with how each Christian is called to “arise and go” share these truths with others. These lessons were created to work in conjunction with the 2024 Senior Bible Quizzing material.

  • Week 1 - Salvation

In this lesson students will learn what salvation means, what we are saved from, and why it is important for us to tell others about this salvation.

  • Week 2 - Belief and Repentance

What message do we take with us when we are called to “arise and go”? The answer is the message of salvation. Salvation begins with belief and repentance. In this lesson students will learn the importance of belief and repentance.

  • Week 3 - Baptism of Water and Spirit

Every Christian is called to share the gospel with others. In this lesson students will learn the importance of baptism of water and Spirit and how we must be obedient to all of Scripture, not just cherry-pick what we want out of the Bible.

  • Week 4 - Sharing the Gift of Salvation

Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Do you love Me?” We all must answer this question at some point in life. Do we love Jesus enough to “arise and go” tell the world about salvation? In this lesson students will be challenged to answer the call to fulfill the Great Commission and study the examples of the apostles to see how they fulfilled the Great Commission in the early church.
